Ibrahima Ndiaye files complaint to FIFA against Zamalek

Zamalek’s Senegalese winger Ibrahima Ndiaye has submitted a complaint against the club to FIFA over unpaid salaries.

In his complaint, the 26-year-old urged Zamalek to pay him $1.5 million as his remaining salary in addition to $1 million in compensation due to the club failing their contractual obligations.

Ndiaye’s contract with Zamalek ran out earlier this month and the Egyptian giants failed to reach a settlement deal with the player.

Zamalek offered to schedule the remaining of his $750,000 salary but Ndiaye refused. The White Knights also offered to pay a part of his salary and schedule the rest. Yet, the Senegalese winger also refused opting to submit a complaint against the club.

Zamalek already settled a lot of their salaries and debts to former players and managers. They have already been transfer-banned this season and just lifted the ban by settling Khaled Boutaib’s debt.

Ndiaye joined Zamalek in the summer of 2022 from Swiss club FC Luzern for a reported fee of €850,000, making 52 appearances for the club in which he scored ten goals.
