Al Kholood are reportedly closing in on the signing of Besiktas and DR Congo striker Jackson Muleka despite interest from a Russian club.
The Saudi Pro League side had agreed a deal to sign Muleka on a season-long loan from Besiktas, with an option to make the deal permanent next season.
However, recent reports suggested that the deal was on the verge of collapsing as an unnamed Russian club attempted to hijack the transfer.
Despite that, it seems Muleka is now heading to the Saudi Pro League after finally agreeing terms with Al-Kholood according to Asharq Al-Awsat.
Besiktas have also renegotiated the deal structure with Al-Kholood with the latter set to pay a €1 million loan fee and could spend an additional €1.5 million next year if they wish to sign the forward on a permanent basis.
During his stay with Besiktas, Muleka scored 15 goals in 80 games, winning the 2024 Turkish Cup and the Turkish Super Cup last week.
Al-Kholood have already made eight summer signings after finalising deals with Al Ahly’s Aliou Dieng, Slovak defender Norbert Gyömbér, and Nigeria captain William Troost Ekong.
