Al Hilal and Bayern Munich have reportedly reached a deal for the transfer of French winger Kingsley Coman to Saudi Arabia.
The champions’ proposal has already been received by Bayern and was deemed acceptable to the German giants according to Fabrizio Romano.
However, the deal is not close to being completed yet. Coman did not make up his mind whether he wants to move to Saudi Arabia and he is still waiting for Premier League clubs. Catalunyan giants Barcelona also showed concrete interest in the French winger in the past few days.
The 28-year-old was also the subject of interest for Al-Ahli Jeddah earlier in the transfer window but they now seem intent on signing English striker Ivan Toney.
Al-Hilal are yet to make a major summer signing, with all their foreign players from last season still at the club, including Renan Lodi, Neymar, Sergej Milinkovic Savic, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Kalidou Koulibaly, Yassine Bounou, and Ruben Neves.
In addition, Michael’s recent departure opened up a place in their foreign players’ quota, with the Saudi Champions also closing in on Manchester City fullback Joao Cancelo with news emerging that the player is already signing his contract with Al-Hilal in Paris.
The Blues are trying to keep their squad refreshed in their bid to retain the league title and return the AFC Champions League title to Riyadh. It’s worth noting that the Saudi transfer window closes on Monday, September 2nd.
