Pyramids FC and Ceramica Cleopatra have agreed on a major swap deal, involving Sodiq Awujoola, Fagrie Lakay, Mohamed Reda “Bobo,” and more.
The agreement will see Nigerian winger Sodiq Awujoola join Pyramids FC, while Ceramica Cleopatra will receive Fagrie Lakay on loan, along with Mohamed Reda “Bobo,” Youssef Ossama Nabih, and Abdallah Magdy.
Awujoola had the third-highest goal contributions in the Egyptian League last season, scoring 12 goals and providing 11 assists. The 23-year-old Nigerian can play both as a winger and a playmaker, making him a versatile addition to Pyramids.
Heading to Ceramica Cleopatra is Mohamed Reda “Bobo,” who was previously at the center of a transfer battle between Al Ahly and Pyramids FC but opted for Pyramids. However, his career did not flourish at the club, leading to his move to Ceramica Cleopatra.
South Africa’s Fagrie Lakay has renewed his contract with Pyramids before moving out on loan as part of the deal.
Youssef Ossama Nabih, who joined Pyramids on a free transfer from Zamalek last season but struggled for playing time, will also move to Ceramica Cleopatra.
Additionally, Abdallah Magdy, who spent last season on loan at ZED FC, will be part of the swap.
