Ex-Real Madrid and Spain captain Sergio Ramos has reportedly not received any offers to join Egyptian giants Zamalek.
Ramos, aged 38, is currently a free agent after his contract with Sevilla expired last summer, and was unable to find a new club despite links to Saudi Arabia last summer.
With four UEFA Champions League titles, two Euros, and the 2010 World Cup to his name, Ramos has a vast experience that would make any club dream of acquiring his services.
Reports emerged that Egyptian giant Zamalek are negotiating to sign Ramos as a free agent, with the Spanish defender also open to moving to Cairo.
According to AS, Ramos’ entourage claims that Zamalek has not made an official offer; however, the player had recently received a significant offer from the Saudi club Al Orobah.
The report added there was also interest from San Diego in the MLS and there have also been approaches from Brazil in recent weeks.
Ramos started his career at Sevilla, before going on to represent Real Madrid for 16 years, which was followed by two spells at Paris Saint Germain and his boyhood club Sevilla.
The 38-year-old has managed to win 22 major honours during his career, which also saw him play for Spain 180 times across four World Cups and three European championships.
