Former Egypt manager Rui Vitoria, 54, is on the verge of returning to coaching with Saudi Pro League club Al Qadisiyah.
According to Arriyadiyah, Al-Qadisiyah officials met with the Portuguese coach to agree on the details as they prepare to dismiss their current manager, Michel Gonzalez.
Rui Vitoria previously worked in the Saudi Pro League, leading Al Nassr to victories in the Saudi League and Saudi Cup.
The Portuguese coach has eight trophies on his resume, including twice winning the Portuguese League, the Portuguese Cup, and the Portuguese League Cup, and the Portuguese Super Cup once with Benfica.
His six trophies in Portugal are in addition to the two he won with Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
Vitoria has been without a job since leaving the Egyptian national team in February 2024, following a brief but disappointing stint.
Al-Qadisiyah is currently in sixth place in the Saudi Professional League standings, with 10 points after six rounds of the competition.
They are next in action against Ittihad Jeddah on Saturday, 19 October at 9 PM CET.
