Saudi champions Al Hilal are reportedly interested in signing Mohamed Salah before their Club World Cup campaign next summer.
According to various reports, Al Hilal are pushing to secure the signing of Mohamed Salah in time for the tournament, which begins in mid-June 2025.
However, with Salah’s contract not set to expire until the end of June, it’s unclear how Al Hilal would complete the transfer as a free agent before their campaign kicks off.
It is no secret that if Salah does not renew his contract with Liverpool, Al Hilal will face stiff competition from major European clubs also keeping track of the player’s situation, most notably, Barcelona.
The expanded Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States, will feature 32 teams, including several Arab clubs: Al Hilal, Al Ain, Wydad Casablanca, Espérance Sportive de Tunis, and Al Ahly.
