Cristiano Ronaldo has officially extended his stay with Saudi club Al Nassr, signing a new contract that will keep him in Riyadh until 2027.

According to emerging reports, the two-year extension is worth an eye-watering £492 million, making it the most highest paying contract in sporting history.
Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly earn a base salary of £488,000 per day, alongside a £24.5 million signing bonus, rising to £38 million if he opts into the second year.
The deal also includes a 15% ownership stake in Al Nassr, valued at approximately £33 million, further boosting the contract’s overall value beyond the £500 million mark.
Ronaldo first joined Al Nassr in late 2022, but is yet to achieve a a championship’s title in any of the competitions he’s taken part in. Two runner-up finishes in the league, early AFC Champions League exits, and domestic disappointments have defined his tenure so far.
The Portuguese icon’s renewed commitment signals one final mission, to leave the Kingdom as a champion.
