Pyramids FC are on the shortlist for the 2025 CAF Club of the Year award following their historic Champions League triumph.

Egypt’s Pyramids FC earned their place on the shortlist after clinching their first-ever CAF Champions League title to achieve a remarkable feat under coach Krunoslav Jurčić.

Joining them is Morocco’s RS Berkane, who lifted the CAF Confederation Cup for the third time in their history before losing the CAF Super Cup to Pyramids.

South Africa dominates the list with three clubs nominated. Mamelodi Sundowns, Stellenbosch FC, and Orlando Pirates, all of whom impressed in continental and domestic competition.

Algeria is also represented by CR Belouizdad and CS Constantine. Sudanese giants Al Hilal, Tanzania’s Simba SC, and Cote d’Ivoire’s ASEC Mimosas round out the 10-club shortlist.

CAF will reveal the winners at its annual awards ceremony scheduled for later this year.
