Al Masry have parted company with head coach Nabil Kouki and appointed former Al Ahly coach Emad El Nahhas as his replacement.

Al Masry have released a statement thanking head coach Nabil Kouki and his staff for their work and appointed Emad El Nahhas as his replacement on Tuesday.

The club said it had accepted Kouki’s request to step down from his role following a run of poor results, including a 4-1 league defeat to Zamalek.

In its statement, Al Masry thanked Kouki and his technical staff for their efforts with the first team and wished them success in their future careers.

The Tunisian joined the club last summer. Emad El Nahhas will now take charge of the Port Said club for the next phase of the season.

They are currently fifth in the Egyptian Premier League round with 32 points.
