Egypt and Russia agreed on the final organisational details before the Russian Football Union announced the match. Russia will also face Burkina Faso on June 5 and Trinidad and Tobago on June 9.
The last time the two teams faced each other was in the 2018 World Cup, which Russia hosted. That game ended in a 3-1 victory for Russia.
The match is part of the final build-up to the World Cup. It also comes before another friendly against Brazil in the United States in early June.
