Mohamed Salah sat down to watch tribute messages from Jurgen Klopp, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and more before his Liverpool exit.
Mohamed Salah watched tribute messages from Jurgen Klopp, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and several Liverpool figures as the club prepares for the forward’s departure at the end of the season.
The video, over 20 minutes long, included tributes from a slew of figures. The praises came from Jurgen Klopp, Steven Gerrard, Ian Rush, Jordan Henderson, Andrew Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Rio Ngumoha, Adam Lallana, Milner, Robbie Fowler, Arne Slot, Luciano Spalletti, Erling Haaland, Pep Guardiola, Declan Rice, and Eden Hazard.
Notably, Salah reacted most strongly to Alexander-Arnold’s message, saying the former Liverpool right-back was “the only person” he cried over when he left the club.
Alexander-Arnold told Salah he missed him and described him as a close friend and “a brother.” The two played together on Liverpool’s right side for eight years.
Klopp also sent a message to Salah, thanking him for his role during Liverpool’s successful years under the German manager. Klopp said Liverpool’s achievements during his tenure would not have happened in the same way without the Egyptian.
Salah joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017. So far, he has scored over 250 goals for the Reds, placing him third on Liverpool’s all-time scorers list.
