Zamalek have reportedly accepted contractual amendments requested by Serbian coach Vuk Rašović ahead of his expected arrival in Cairo.
According to reports, Zamalek approved changes to the contract agreement with Vuk Rašović after further discussions with the 53-year-old.
Rašović has yet to sign his final contract. He is set to travel to Cairo in the coming days to complete the process and begin preparations for the 2026/27 season.
Rašović would succeed Motamed Gamal despite the Egyptian coach leading Zamalek to last season’s Premier League title.
As previously reported, the White Knights had also contacted Spanish coach Pablo Franco while considering a change. However, the club has not yet formally announced Gamal’s departure.
Rašović last managed UAE side Kalba before leaving in February. His previous clubs include Partizan Belgrade, Dinamo Minsk, Al-Faisaly, Al-Dhafra, Al-Wahda and Al-Fayha.
He led Partizan to the Serbian league title in 2013 and guided Al-Fayha to their first Saudi King’s Cup in 2022, beating Al-Hilal on penalties in the final.
