Egypt national team head coach Hossam Hassan has named his 25-man squad for the upcoming international break this month.
The Pharaohs are set to begin a new era under Hossam Hassan as they look to recover from a disappointing run in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Egypt are set to take part in the Winsunited Cup during the March break in the UAE alongside Tunisia, Croatia, and New Zealand.
However, there has been controversy around Mohamed Salah, who is currently out due to injury with his last appearance for the Reds coming in a 4-1 victory away at Brentford.
Despite making his return to training recently, it has now been confirmed that Salah will now remain at Liverpool after being left out of Hossam Hassan’s squad.
Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny also failed to make the cut while ex-Aston Villa winger Mahmoud Trezeguet and Omar Marmoush of Frankfurt secured their spots.
