Omar Nagy, agent of Hossam Abdelmaguid, has revealed that European clubs are interested in signing the player during the January transfer window.

Speaking to MBC Masr 2, Nagy stated, “Hossam is working hard to improve his level. He’s collaborating with a specialized company that analyzes his performance data to help him develop.”

He continued, “After the 2024 Paris Olympics, some clubs from Belgium and Portugal showed interest in him. Although negotiations initially stalled, talks have now resumed ahead of the January window.”

Nagy concluded by saying, “Hossam’s contract with Zamalek is worth around 2 million EGP, and we’re awaiting discussions with the club to enhance his terms.”

Hossam Abdelmaguid was promoted to Zamalek’s first team in 2019 and has since made 97 appearances, scoring seven goals.

Over his time with the club, he has secured five trophies, including two Egyptian League titles, one Egyptian Cup, one Egyptian Super Cup, and one CAF Confederation Cup.
