Al Ahly have officially announced the departure of Rami Rabia, Akram Tawfik, and Hamza Alaa following the expiry of their contracts.

The club extended its thanks to the trio, all of whom opted not to renew their deals.

Rami Rabia leaves Al Ahly as one of the club’s longest-serving players, having made 337 appearances, scoring 18 goals and assisting 8 across all competitions.

Akram Tawfik featured in 144 matches, registering 3 goals and 7 assists in his time with the Reds.

Goalkeeper Hamza Alaa made just two senior appearances for the club.

Their exit comes in the aftermath of Al Ahly’s emphatic 6-0 victory over Pharco, which secured the club’s 45th Egyptian Premier League title.
