Mohamed Shokry

Al Ahly has reportedly decided to re-sign left-back Mohamed Shokry and Algerian playmaker Ahmed Kendouci from Ceramica Cleopatra during the upcoming summer.

Al Ahly officially notified Ceramica Cleopatra about activating the buy-back clause to regain Mohamed Shokry, the team’s left-back.

This is in exchange for nine million Egyptian pounds according to the transfer agreement of Shokry from Al Ahly to Ceramica two seasons ago.

Shokry played 17 matches for Ceramica this season in various competitions, scoring two goals and providing three assists.

The 24-year-old is a product of Al Ahly’s youth sector and was linked with a move to arch-rivals Zamalek during the previous winter transfer window.

Ahmed Kendouci

Meanwhile, Al Ahly also officially notified Ceramica of the return of their Algerian playmaker Ahmed Kendouci starting next season.

Kendouci has joined Ceramica on a season-long loan from the Reds and has been in flying form, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 17 games.

The Algerian joined Al Ahly from ES Sétif in January 2023 and helped Al Ahly win four trophies in his debut season after appearing 21 times under Swiss coach Marcel Koller.
