Al Ahly Signs Former WNBA Player Dyaisha Fair

Al Ahly signed former Las Vegas Aces’ Dyaisha Fair to bolster their women’s basketball team ahead of the Women’s Basketball African League.

Dyaisha Fair was selected 16th overall in the second round of the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Las Vegas Aces. She made her WNBA debut on May 25, 2024, during the regular season but was later waived.

Following her WNBA stint, the point guard joined Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ula Club, where she played a pivotal role in helping the team secure second place in the Saudi Women’s Basketball League.

Al Ahly signing Fair is part of the club’s efforts to strengthen their squad for the Women’s Basketball African League, which will take place in Senegal from December 6 to 15, 2024.
