The move addresses a crucial need for the Riyadh club, with key attacking duo Aleksandar Mitrovic and Salem Al-Dawsari both sidelined. Aleksander Mitrovic has not featured in the tournament due to injury, and Salem Al-Dawsari has been ruled out for the remainder of the Club World Cup with a hamstring injury.

Abderrazak Hamdallah arrived at Al Hilal’s training base in Orlando on Wednesday and is set to join the squad’s training sessions as preparations ramp up for their last-eight clash, following a dramatic 4-3 victory over Manchester City.

The 34-year-old brings vast experience, especially from the Saudi Pro League, having starred for Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, and Al Shabab. The Morrocan wrapped up an impressive individual season, scoring 23 goals and assisting two. He is currently the league’s second all-time top scorer, trailing only Syrian striker, Omar Al Somah.

Abderrazak Hamdallah’s arrival offers head coach Simone Inzaghi a proven finisher and a timely boost as Al Hilal continue their historic Club World Cup run.
