Saudi giants Al Nassr want to part ways with ex-Manchester United left-back Alex Telles as per their manager Luis Castro’s desire.
Telles joined Al-Nassr last summer from Manchester United for a fee of only €4.6 million; however, he failed to convince the club’s fans and management as he is nearing a quick exit.
According to Saudi media, Al-Nassr are willing to either mutually terminate Telles’ contract or send him out on loan, with the permanent exit being the most probable solution.
Last season, Telles made 34 appearances in Riyadh, scoring three goals and assisting five as the club finished the season empty-handed, losing the Saudi Pro League and the King’s Cup to rivals Al-Hilal.
Letting Telles leave would open a place in their foreign players’ quota, which already includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo Brozovic, Sadio Mane, Ayemric Laporte, and newly signed Brazilian keeper Bento.
The Saudi giants are already fending interest from Real Madrid in Ayemric Laporte while also keeping an eye on Brazilian forward Raphina, who prefers to remain at Camp Nou.
