Gabon international Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is set to sign for Saudi club Al Qadisiyah from Olympique de Marseille to become the club’s second major signing.
Having earned promotion to the Saudi Pro League last season, Al Qadisiyah have started the summer transfer window with a bang, bringing in Euro winner Nacho Fernandez from Real Madrid.
The club also signed Uruguay international Nahitan Nández, Belgian keeper Koen Casteels from Wolfsburg, and Mexican striker Julián Quiñones.
The latest big name to join the club is now expected to be former Arsenal and Barcelona striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from Marseille.
Both clubs are close to finalizing a deal, according to Santi Aouna after a great last season which saw Aubameyang scoring 30 goals and assisted 11 in 51 games.
