Frank Aziz signs for Estoril Praia’s U23 side from the MLS NEXT youth league, where he was touted as a top prospect.
Born Frank Fady Victor Nemr Aziz, the American-Egyptian winger joins the Portuguese club’s U23 on a four-year deal running until June 2029. The 19-year-old will wear the number 88 shirt.
Frank Aziz arrives in Portugal from Strikers FC, a Southern California side competing in the MLS NEXT youth league, where he developed his game and managed to catch the attention of Estoril’s scouts.
Comfortable on either wing and naturally two-footed, he stands at around 1.73m and is noted for his pace and versatility in attack.
In his first statement as an Estoril player, Aziz said, “I am very excited and grateful to have signed with Estoril Praia, a team competing at the highest level in Portugal. I am ready to give everything for the club.”
While born and raised in the United States, Frank Aziz also holds Egyptian citizenship, making him eligible to represent the Egyptian national team in the future if called up and he chooses to accept.
