Beach Football: Egypt to face Senegal in AFCON semi final

The Egypt Beach Soccer National Team has advanced to the semi-finals of the 2024 AFCON, hosted in Egypt, after finishing at the top of their group.

Egypt began their campaign with a 6-3 victory over Ghana, followed by a 9-3 win against Tanzania, securing their spot in the semi-finals.

With both Egypt and Morocco tied at 6 points, Egypt edged out Morocco 3-2 to claim the top spot in the group.

The Pharaohs will face reigning champions Senegal in the semi-final on October 24.

The two teams that reach the final will qualify for the Beach Soccer World Cup, but Egypt will also be aiming to win their first-ever AFCON trophy.
