As part of the camp, the seven-time African champions will compete in a four-team friendly tournament featuring Iran, Cape Verde, and Uzbekistan.

Additionally, Zamalek left-back Ahmed Fatouh returns to the squad after a turbulent few months, both on and off the pitch. Likewise, former Al Ahly striker Salah Mohsen, who last played for Egypt in a World Cup qualifier against Gabon in September 2021.
