The Egyptian national team will conduct three training sessions in Cairo before traveling for their two upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has announced that the national team will begin their training camp on March 16th, preparing for two crucial fixtures in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia on March 21st and Sierra Leone on March 25th in the fifth and sixth rounds of the group stage.
Egypt’s squad for the upcoming camp will be announced on March 15th, following the conclusion of the Egypt Cup quarter-finals. The Pharaohs currently lead Group A with 10 points from four matches, having secured three wins and one draw. The group also includes Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, and Djibouti.
Egypt’s match against Ethiopia will take place in Morocco at 11:00 PM Cairo time, while the home clash against Sierra Leone is scheduled for 9:00 PM on March 25th in Cairo.
