Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool are eyeing a move for Egypt international Omar Marmoush.
Omar Marmoush has been on Liverpool’s transfer list for some time now, with BILD even reporting that the Reds could line up a fee in the region of €50 million for the Egyptian.

Liverpool are said not to be the only Premier League club to be keen on Marmoush, with Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Newcastle United also keeping tabs on the player.
The 25-year-old’s current deal runs until 2027 and with three years remaining, clubs will have to spend big to acquire his services, but Romano insisted Frankfurt are yet to put a price tag on Marmoush.
Speaking to CaughtOffside, Fabrizio Romano said: “Omar Marmoush – The Egyptian winger has been linked with Liverpool.
“I’m aware they have scouted Eintracht in general to monitor some players, but there is nothing imminent or close at this stage with Marmoush or any other player.
“Eintracht have not communicated a price yet for Marmoush, so we are at really early stages of this story.”
Since joining Frankfurt from Wolfsburg last summer, Marmoush has been in stellar form, scoring 15 and providing six assists in 36 games across all competitions.
A product of Wadi Degla’s youth academy, Marmoush moved to Germany at the age of 18 to join Wolfsburg, before also spending some time on loan at FC St. Pauli and VfB Stuttgart.
Transfermarkt value the player at €22 million, making him the second-most valuable Egyptian player at the moment behind Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah.
