The 2025 FIFPRO Men’s World 11 has been revealed, and once again, Mohamed Salah has been left out of the lineup.

Despite leading Liverpool to the Premier League title last season and finishing as both the league’s top scorer (29 goals) and top assist provider (18), Salah did not make the final XI.

FIFPRO World 11, established in 2005, is the only global football award determined solely by player votes.

The Egyptian forward had been one of three Liverpool nominees alongside Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk, but only Van Dijk earned a place in the team.

Salah’s omission remains astonishing, particularly given his historic individual season and central role in Liverpool’s success. On the North African front however, Achraf Hakimi was selected.

The 2025 FIFPRO World 11 features five Paris Saint-Germain players and just one representative from the Premier League.

2025 FIFPRO Men’s World 11:

  • Defenders: Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool, Netherlands), Achraf Hakimi (PSG, Morocco), Nuno Mendes (PSG, Portugal)
