Former Tala’a El-Gaish Nigerian striker Paul Julius has tragically lost his life in a car accident in Cyprus.
Cypriot Police said Julius was driving when his car collided with a vehicle, driven by a 74-year-old man, travelling in the opposite direction around 6:30 a.m.
The 74-year-old was taken to the hospital, but is not in a critical condition; however, unfortunately, Paul Julius passed away.
Julius was only 20 years old and left El-Gaish this summer to join Cypriot side Enosis Neon Paralimni, who were set to start the new campaign later this month.
During his time in Egypt, Julius represented El-Gaish in 34 games across a one-and-a-half season, with his last appearance coming in May against Baladiyat El-Mahalla, where he assisted the winner.
KingFut wishes to offer our earnest condolences to Paul Julius and his family.
