While financial details have not yet been announced, coverage in Spain has suggested the purchase option will be no higher than €3 million. However, performance-related variables could raise the overall package to €5 million.
It is understood that Hamza Abdelkarim has already said goodbye to teammates at Al Ahly. The youngster is expected to travel to Barcelona within days to complete medical checks and final paperwork.
