Ibrahim Adel scored his fourth goal of the season, but Nordsjælland surrendered a two-goal lead to lose to league leaders Midtjylland.
The Egypt winger doubled the hosts’ advantage in the 34th minute at Right to Dream Park before Midtjylland scored three times after the break, with Sofus Johannesen securing the win in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Adel’s goal was his second in the league this season and his fourth across all competitions in 20 appearances.
Nordsjælland had made an early breakthrough through Justin Janssen, who opened the scoring after six minutes from a Runar Robinsønn Norheim assist.
Adel then made it 2-0, finishing from a Nicklas Røjkjær pass to give the hosts a two-goal cushion before half-time.
Midtjylland thought they had pulled one back through Stanley Iheanacho in the 38th minute, but his effort was ruled out for offside following a VAR review.
The visitors eventually reduced the deficit through a Tobias Salquist own goal in the 66th minute. Half-time substitute Kjell Wätjen equalised eight minutes later after an assist from Ousmane Diao.
Adel made way for Villum Berthelsen in the 78th minute with the scores level.
Johannesen, another half-time substitute, then completed the comeback in the 95th minute to leave Nordsjælland without a point.
The defeat kept Nordsjælland on 20 points from 13 matches, while Midtjylland moved to 31 at the top of the table. filgoal.com

The 25-year-old previously played for Pyramids, helping them win the 2025 CAF Champions League before moving to the UAE.
Nordsjælland next visit Monaco in the UEFA Conference League on November 5 before travelling to Randers in the Danish league three days later.
