DR Congo striker Jackson Muleka is on his way to join Saudi Arabia’s Al-Kholood after they reached a deal with Turkish club Besiktas.
Al-Kholood agreed a deal to sign Muleka on a season-long loan from Besiktas for €500,000, with an option to make the deal permanent for €3 million next season according to Asharq Al-Awsat.
The Saudi club have already also agreed personal terms with Muleka; however, the only thing remaining is the approval of the Saudi Pro League financial committee.
Muleka, 24, started his career at TP Mazembe before moving to Europe through Belgian outfit Standard Liège, then Turkish clubs Kasimpasa and Besiktas.
During his stay with Besiktas, Muleka scored 15 goals in 80 games, winning the 2024 Turkish Cup and the Turkish Super Cup a few days ago.
Muleka is now set to be Al-Kholood’s ninth summer signing after deals with the likes of Al Ahly’s Aliou Dieng, Slovak defender Norbert Gyömbér, and Nigeria captain William Troost Ekong.
Having been promoted to the Saudi Pro League this season, Al-Kholood hopes Muleka’s goalscoring abilities will help them stay in the top flight.
