Libyan club Al-Ittihad has officially announced the signing of Mahmoud Kahraba from Al Ahly.
The Egyptian forward will join Al-Ittihad on a six-month loan deal. Speaking during his unveiling, Kahraba shared excitement for the move, “I am happy to be here and I hope to meet your expectations by delivering good performances.”
Kahraba will wear the number 11 jersey at his new club and will work under the guidance of former Al Ahly head coach Juan Carlos Garrido.
The 30-year-old forward featured in nine matches for Al Ahly across various competitions this season, scoring two goals. His most recent appearance came in Al Ahly’s 2-0 victory over El Gouna in the Egyptian Premier League.
Since joining Al Ahly, Kahraba has played 144 matches for the Red Devils, scoring 48 goals and providing 22 assists. He also had a brief loan stint with Turkish club Hatayspor in 2022.
The player had been linked with a potential move to Iraqi side Al-Zawraa, but Al-Ittihad ultimately secured his services.
