Manchester City and Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush have reportedly reached a full verbal agreement on personal terms.
The 25-year-old Egyptian striker is said to be Manchester City’s top target and has reportedly expressed his desire to move to the Premier League champions immediately over the pas week.
According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, all personal terms have been finalized between the player and the club. Frankfurt have reportedly been informed of the development and are now awaiting City’s first official offer, which is expected to arrive by the weekend.
Earlier in the season it was reported that the German club would be willing to accept an offer between €50-60 million. The price is now said to gave went up, with the Bundesliga side setting a price tag of €80 million for Marmoush.
Marmoush has enjoyed an impressive season so far, recording 18 goals and 12 assists across 24 appearances in all competitions. His performances have made him a prime target for top clubs around the continent, but it seems that the forward will be heading to Pep Guardiola’s side after all.
