Omar Marmoush managed to bounce back as Manchester City secured a 3-1 win over Bournemouth to climb to third in the Premier League table.
The Egyptian forward opened the scoring in style with a sensational strike in the 14th minute, marking his seventh league goal since joining the club in January.
Marmoush has now contributed directly to 11 goals (7 goals, 4 assists) in just 21 appearances across all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s side. The 26-year-old’s goal put him level with Erling Haaland for most goals scored since January in the Premier League for Man City.

Bernardo Silva and Nico González added two more for City, while Daniel Jebbison netted a consolation for Bournemouth.
Elsewhere, the match also saw the long-awaited return of Rodri. The 2024 Ballon D’or winner featured for the first time in 240 days following an injury layoff.
Meanwhile, fans at the Etihad bid farewell to club legend Kevin De Bruyne, who played his final home game for the club.
The win lifted City to 68 points, strengthening their grip on a Champions League spot.
