Ipswich Town skipper Sam Morsy has been nominated for this season’s PFA Championship Fans’ Player of the Year award.

Since his move to Ipswich Town, Sam Morsy has been instrumental in the club’s sensational back-to-back promotions from League One all the way to the Premier League.

The 31-year-old made 42 appearances in the Championship this season scoring twice and assisting seven times including one in their promotion decider against Huddersfield.

As a result, Morsy has been shortlisted for the award along with teammates Leif Davis and Chelsea loanee Omari Hutchinson.

The Tractor Boys will face strong competition from Leicester City’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as well as Leeds United duo Ethan Ampadu and Crysencio Summerville.

The voting poll is currently open and will close on Sunday, May 19th at 9:59 PM GMT.
