Ismaily have officially announced the appointment of Hamad Ibrahim as the team’s head coach, as revealed on the club’s official Facebook page.
Earlier this week, the club had appointed Shawky Gharib as head coach on Monday. However, internal disagreements within the club’s board led to Gharib’s departure shortly after.
Hamad Ibrahim has previously worked as an assistant coach under Ehab Galal, with notable stints at clubs like Zamalek, Ismaily, and the Egyptian national team.
Ibrahim was the assistant manager during Ehab Galal’s recent stint at Ismaily until the former passed away in September.
He will be supported by a coaching team that includes Ahmed Hossam as general coach, Ahmed El-Gamal as assistant coach, Mostafa Kamal as goalkeeping coach, Ahmed Sameh as fitness coach, and Mohamed Adly as performance analyst.
Ismaily finished last season in 14th place in the league, with 33 points and had also reached the semi-finals of the Egypt Cup.
