Al Ahly have announced the signing of right-back Ahmed Eid from Al Masry on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Following the announcement, the Red Devils confirmed that Ahmed Eid immediately joined first-team training on Wednesday.
Ahmed Eid began his career in Al Ahly’s youth setup before moving to Zamalek as a teenager. He later established himself in the Egyptian Premier League and joined Al Masry in August 2023 on a free transfer. This season, he has featured regularly for Al Masry in the league, logging seven appearances according to match data trackers.
Al Ahly are currently preparing for their CAF Champions League group-stage fixture against Young Africans.
The signing comes days after Eid returned from Morocco with the Egypt national team following AFCON, where the Pharaohs finished fourth.
