Al Masry have completed the signing of Egypt international Khaled Sobhi and Ahmed El-Armouty from Ceramica Cleopatra.
The deal has cost Al Masry EGP 17 million as the duo becomes the club’s eighth summer signing.
The news comes after Khaled Sobhi was handed his international debut just a few days ago, starting and playing the full 90 minutes in a 4-0 win against Botswana.
Khaled Sobhi, 29, joined Ceramica Cleopatra in the summer of 2020, and has played for several clubs, including Aswan, El-Gouna, and Ittihad of Alexandria.
On the other hand, 25-year-old winger Ahmed El-Armouty played the past two seasons at Cleopatra after joining the club from Suez in 2022.
Al Masry had previously announced the signings of Khaled El Ghandour, Mohamed Makhlouf, Mahmoud Hamdy, Karim Bambo, Mohamed Hesham, and Pape Badji.
Under the leadership of Ali Maher, Al Masry is preparing to participate in the CAF Confederation Cup, where they will face Libyan club Hilal Benghazi in the second preliminary round.
Al Masry will visit Hilal Benghazi on September 15 at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Benghazi, Libya, with the match set to kick off at 8 PM.
