Bank Al Ahly has officially announced the signing of 24-year-old winger Sayed Abdallah ‘Neymar’ from Zamalek on a loan deal.
Neymar, a product of Zamalek’s youth academy, has made 87 appearances for the club, scoring two goals and providing 13 assists.
During his time with Zamalek, he contributed to the team’s success, helping them win the CAF Confederation Cup and the Egyptian Premier League.
Bank Al Ahly have been active in the transfer market, having already signed Hesham Salah from Ittihad of Alexandria, Ahmed Yasser Rayan, and Mohamed Ibrahim from Ceramica Cleopatra, and Abd El Aziz El Baloouty from ENPPI.
They’ve also strengthened their squad with second-division players Mostafa Abd El Rehim from Entag El-Harby and Khaled Abd El Shafy from La Vienna.
Bank Al Ahly ended last season in 13th place with 36 points, and under manager Tarek Mostafa, they aim to improve their standing in the league and push for a mid-table finish.
