OFFICIAL: Momen Soliman takes charge of Al Ahli Benghazi

Egyptian coach Momen Soliman has finalized an agreement with Libyan side Ahli Benghazi to become their new manager.

Soliman steps in to replace Serbian coach Dejan Arsov, who was dismissed after just four months in charge, having been appointed in July 2024.

The Egyptian tactician previously managed Iraqi club Al-Shorta, where he led the team to an Iraqi Premier League title before departing earlier this year.

With Ahli Benghazi not competing in any African tournaments this season, Soliman will have ample time to focus on training and implementing his tactical philosophy.

This isn’t Soliman’s first stint in Libyan football, as he previously managed Al Ittihad during the 2023/24 season.
