Argentina star Paulo Dybala has rejected a move to Saudi club Al Qadsiah opting to stay with AS Roma.

The World Cup winner has only one year left on his current contract and Roma have been open to the idea of selling him, with several sides eyeing the deal.

However, it’s understood that Dybala and his family weren’t keen on moving to Saudi Arabia, despite a lucrative long-term deal offered by Al Qadsiah, leading to the player rejecting a €75m package spread over three years.

Dybala insists he only wants to stay with AS Roma and it remains to be seen whether the Italian club will now offer him a new deal or let him go on a free transfer next summer.

The 30-year-old has revived his career in Rome after joining from Juventus on a free transfer two seasons ago, and since then he scored 34 goals and assisted 18 in 77 games.

Having earned promotion to the Saudi Pro League last season, Al-Qadsiah have started the summer transfer window with a bang, bringing in Euro winner Nacho Fernandez from Real Madrid.

The club also signed Uruguay international Nahitan Nández, Belgian keeper Koen Casteels from Wolfsburg, Mexican striker Julián Quiñones, and Gabonese Striker sign Pierre Emerick Aubameyang from Marseille.
