Al Ahly’s Percy Tau is reportedly prioritising a return to Europe with Kaizer Chiefs keeping tabs on the winger.
After another impressive season with Al Ahly, Tau has been attracting interest from a number of clubs in recent weeks.
The 30-year-old has been reportedly linked with South African giants Kaizer Chiefs who are looking to strengthen their ranks in the summer.
However, local reports stated that Al Ahly are not interested in selling Tau and informed the player that he remains part of their plans.
But according to The South African, Tau’s preference is a return to Europe with Middle Eastern clubs also expressing interest in the former Brighton man.
It’s worth noting that Tau recently sustained a hamstring injury and has missed Al Ahly’s last two league games against Ittihad of Alexandria and Al Dakhleya respectively.
