Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table by four points after a 6-3 victory over Tottenham.
Mohamed Salah enjoyed another record breaking performance, scoring twice and providing two assists. He not only guided Liverpool to victory, but also etched his name deeper into the Premier League history books.
The Egyptian forward’s brace has pushed him ahead of Erling Haaland in the league’s top-scorer race. Mohamed Salah has now become the first player in Premier League history to score 10+ goals and provide 10+ assists in four consecutive seasons. Additionally, he is the first player ever to reach double figures for both goals and assists in a single Premier League season before Christmas.
Liverpool will now look to keep their place at the top of the table as they prepare for a busy schedule ahead of boxing day.
