Tottenham are reported to be interested in Omar Marmoush, with the Manchester City forward seeking more playing time.

Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush, with the Egyptian attacker facing uncertainty over his future after a limited season at the Etihad, according to reports.

Italian journalist Nicolò Schira reported that Tottenham are considering a move for Marmoush and could make an attempt in the coming days. He said Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi is an admirer of the player.

Marmoush could leave Manchester City to seek more playing time.

The 27-year-old joined Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt in January 2025 on a contract running until 2029. The deal was worth €75 million, with a further €5 million in possible add-ons.

Marmoush made 21 Premier League appearances for City in the 2025-26 season. His total Premier League record with City stands at 37 appearances, 10 goals, and three assists since joining the club.

Marmoush is currently with Egypt at the World Cup, which may delay any decision over his future. The forward is expected to remain focused on the tournament while Egypt attempt to secure a place in the knockout stage.

Tottenham are preparing for their first summer window under De Zerbi, who is expected to reshape the squad after taking charge. The Egyptian’s ability to play across the forward line fits the profile of an attacker who could offer Spurs more flexibility in the final third.
