Tunisia international Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane is reportedly set for a move to Cairo giants Al Ahly this summer.
Ben Romdhane has been linked with a move to Al Ahly for a long time now, since his days at Espérance, and now the rumours have intensified this summer.
Last week, reports revealed that Saudi outfit Al-Okhdood attempted to hijack the transfer forcing the Red Devils to submit an improved bid for the midfielder.
According to the latest report by Tunisian news outlet Nessma Sport, Ben Romdhane seems set for a move to Al Ahly after finally accepting the latter’s offer.
The 24-year-old has been plying his trade at Ferencvárosi since the summer of 2023, joining on a free transfer from Espérance, making 42 appearances in which he scored four and made eight assists.
Should a move to Al Ahly materialise, the former Esperance man will come in as a replacement for Aliou Dieng, who departed the club on loan to join Al-Kholoud in the Saudi Pro League.
