Valencia are reportedly considering a late move for Al Ahly midfielder Aliou Dieng before the January transfer window closes.
Valencia are said to be exploring options to strengthen their midfield and have identified Al Ahly midfielder Aliou Dieng as a potential target. Any move must align with the club’s financial limits and be finalised before LaLiga’s deadline on February 2nd.
Local Valencia outlet Radio Esport 91.4 has reported on Monday that the Malian international is one of several options being considered by the Spanish club.
Aliou Dieng’s contract with Al Ahly is due to expire this summer, which puts Al Ahly at risk of losing him for free. Additionally, recent reports indicate that he has not yet agreed to an extension, despite ongoing discussions about his future.
The 28-year-old has been a long-standing presence at Al Ahly since arriving, and spent last season on loan at Saudi side AlKholood.
