Egypt’s Cam’ron Ismail assisted twice to help Arsenal thrash Norwich City 9-0 in matchday 24 of the U18 Premier League.
Born and raised in London to an Egyptian mother and Nigerian father, Ismail joined Egypt’s U-19 national football team back in October as he pledged his allegiance to the Pharaohs.
The 17-year-old left-back has been a regular in the Arsenal U18 team this season under head coach Jack Wilshere as the team currently sit third in the Southern section.
Ismail most recently started for the Young Gunners as they travelled to Norwich to face the Canaries and came out victorious 9-0, thanks to seven goals from Danish wonderkid Chido Obi.
The first-half ended in a 5-0 lead, with all goals scored by Obi, before Ismaily assisted the latter for his double hattrick in the 54th minute.
Dan Obi scored his seventh of the game in the 64th minute before Andre Annous and Dan Casey scored two late goals to end the game in a 9-0 victory for Arsenal.
This marked Cam’ron Ismail’s first assist in his 15th league appearance of the season.
