Wydad Casablanca have been eliminated from the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup following a 4-1 defeat to Juventus.

The Moroccan side suffered a nightmare start, conceding an own just six minutes in when a shot from Kenan Yildiz deflected off Abdelmounaim Boutouil.
Ten minutes after the first goal, Yildiz doubled the Italian side’s lead with an absolute screamer from outside the box.
Despite the early setback, Wydad Casablanca responded well and pulled one back in style midway through the first half. Nordin Amrabat provided an assist for Thembinkosi Lorch, who dinked the ball past Michele Di Gregorio to bring the score to 2-1.
Wydad showed flashes of promise but struggled to create clear chances. Yildiz restored the two-goal lead in the 69th minute with his second of the night, and Dusan Vlahovic sealed the win for the Bianconeri from the penalty spot in stoppage time.
The result confirms a disappointing exit for Wydad Casablanca from the tournament with two losses and one group match remaining. They will face Al Ain in their final game on Thursday.
