Real Madrid and Brazil star Vinicius’s representative has confirmed negotiations with Saudi clubs Al Hilal and Al Ahli are currently on hold.

Reports recently surfaced about a meeting between Saudi representatives and Vinicius Jr.’s agents, with a major offer proposed to bring him into the Saudi league

However, a representative of Vinicius, Eduardo Piexoto, clarified to Saudi outlet Al Riyadiya: “No discussions or contact from any Saudi club have taken place since August.”

When asked about the player’s openness to joining the Saudi Pro League, he refused to go in to detail saying, “I cannot discuss that, especially as there are currently no offers.”

Real Madrid’s spokesperson, Juan Camilo, also declined to comment on the rumors, stating, “We do not address such speculations. Everything goes through official channels.”

Vinicius Jr. joined Real Madrid in 2018 and has significantly risen within the club’s ranks, playing a key role in the team’s successes. Last week, he finished in second place in the Ballon d’Or rankings.
