Egyptian giants Zamalek have reportedly opened up negotiations with Saudi club Ohod for Polish winger Konrad Michalak.
The Whites have been very active in the summer transfer window as of late, signing Omar Faraj, Mahmoud Bentayg, and Mohamed Hamdi, with a deal for Aaron Boupendza still in doubt.
However, the club is now still keen on reinforcing their attacking line-up, and Polish winger Konrad Michalak has been the latest name to be linked with the club.
According to reports, Zamalek have already agreed terms with Ohod over the deal but has yet to reach an agreement over personal terms with the player.
Zamalek has reportedly offered $800,000 per season to the player, which is half of the player’s demands as he is insisting on $1.6 million per season instead.
Michalak, 26, started his career with Polish giants Legia Warsaw, before going on to represent several clubs, most notably, Russia’s Akhmat Grozny, Turkish clubs MKE Ankaragücü, Caykur Rizespor, and Konyaspor.
He joined Ohod in September 2023 for €1.1 million, making 32 appearances for the Saudi second-tier club, scoring nine goals and assisting three times.
On the international level, Michalak was called up to the Polish national team in June 2022, watching a 2-2 draw with the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League A.
